cable section for Olive You Baby sweater

So, I am at the point where I have divided for the sleeves and will be knitting the rest of the body until binding off. The Cable section of the pattern has 8 rows. The first row is the only row that has the cable stitch. Up until now, I was knitting rows 6 & 7 three times each, then row 8 & 9 one time. You do that series 3 times total before dividing for the sleeves. After dividing for the sleeves (row 10), you are supposed to start with row 11 (WS) then do row 12 (RS) and repeat 11 & 12 until you get the length you wish. I am confused about where to do the cable (which was on row 6 in the original set). This is the Olive You Baby sweater by Taiga Hilliard Designs and I cannot find a contact email to ask her.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

It depends on the size you are making. You always want to have 7 plain or non-cable cross rows between cables crosses.
For the first size, row 10 is row 3 of the cable chart.
For the 2nd size, row 10 is row 5 of the cable chart.
For the 3rd size, row 10 is row 7 of the cable chart
For the 4th size, row 10 is row 1 of the cable chart

I like to mark the row with the cable cross with a marker or a contrasting yarn strand on a stitch outside the cable. It makes it easier to count rows between cables.

Salmonmac,
Thank you, once again, for your help. While the actual design itself is fairly simple, I found the designer’s instructions confusing but when reading other peoples notes on Ravelry, they had no problem whatsoever. I suspect my brain works somewhat differently:) I also appreciate the information regarding contacting the designer; that is a real gem.
