I’m knitting a pair of cabled mittens and I accidentally (well actually, I plain forgot how to do it correctly and wasn’t near a computer to look it up) slipped the first round of cables (out of 9 in the row) knit-wise, instead of purl-wise, and now they are horribly not correct, and look terrible! Is there any way to fix this without frogging?
You could let just the cable stitches drop down to the mistake and fix them with a crochet hook, but it’s not simple if you have to do a cable cross after the mistake. It’s doable, but you really have to concentrate.
Thanks Ingrid! I think I’ll frog.
