I am making a cabled purse. The pattern is a braided cable, a horseshoe cable then a diamond in the middle - then repeat the horseshoe and braid on the other side of the diamond. The diamond and horseshoes look fine, but the braids look odd. There are a few lines in the pattern that hare the same forwards and backwards - i.e. P1, T3F, T3B, T3F, P1 but a few aren’t - i.e. P1, C4F, P2, K2, P2. When I go to the reverse on the other side of the diamond should I also reverse the stitch pattern - P2, K2, P2, C4F, P1? The hosreshoe looks good on either side, so I don’t want to reverse that. I’m ready to tear the whole thing apart and start over.
I’m not sure so I’ll bump this up for others to see.
