I have started on my first cable project. It’s a hat (http://www.sweaterbabe.com/183-one-ball-chunky-cabled-hat-pdf-knitting-pattern/) I was looking over the whole pattern first to make sure I understand everything. There are two different cables, and the pattern for each hat round tells me which round I must knit for each of the two different cables. However, I see where several times they tell me “knit round 2 of the small cable - twist.” What does it mean to “twist” the cable? The pattern for that part of the cable is just “sl 2 sts to cn and hold in back; k2; k2 from cn.”
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks.
