Hello! I’m attempting to make my first sweater and am using a cable chart for the first time. For the most part, I can follow it, but at one point it says to “k, yo, k, yo, k into next stitch” and this is represented by only one cube which in my mind means one stitch. How should I go about knitting this?
Welcome to KH!
Doesn’t look like a simple pattern so congratulations for diving into this one for your first sweater. What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Here’s a video for the k, yo, k, yo, k increase worked into one stitch.

One box or cell on the chart doesn’t always correspond to a stitch on the needle but in this case it does mean to use a single stitch for the increase.
Hi! Thank you so much! I’ve been knitting for awhile but I’ve never felt brave enough to try a sweater until I saw how pretty this one is. It’s Felicia by Marzena Kołaczek -Ravelry: Felicia pattern by Marzena Kołaczek
Thank you for the video! It makes much more sense now ![]()
Thank you for the link. Yummy sweater and clever use of cables.
