I want to try to knit cables. My question is do I have to go and buy a cable needle, or is there anything else that you all use? Anyone have a trick to I can start to practice or do you suggest I get a cable needle??
I lose my cables all the time :teehee: so I’ve used a DPN before or a pencil… anything that I can get the stitch on… and I’ve even made some out of the dow rods too… I can’t keep up with cable needles at all… :shrug:
I use half a bamboo skewer for mine. Works great and super cheap!
