Just successfully finished a top, for the first time ever! Got the pattern from Interweave Knits, Spring 2005, Cable-Eight Top by Joyce Wu. Yarn is Filatura Lanarota Royal Linen, color #7 (malt, I think). I had a little bit of trouble with the sizing, finding that the front and back panels (identical) were long enough but not wide enough for me (and my gauge was correct). Since I had already started over several times, I didn’t feel up to doing it again. So, I sewed the shoulder seams, then picked up stitches along the sides and added horizontal 2x2 ribbing. Then I mattress-stitched the side seams together. Thanks to knittinghelp, I finally felt like I knew what I was doing! Yea for me![/img]
