Bunting seat belt hole

I’m knitting a baby bunting. I have 82 st on straight needles. It says when piece measures 11 in. join. knit the first 5 and the back 5 sts tog and work in round until 18 “. Makes car seat belt hole. Knit to middle of front. turn, purl to mid back work back and forth till 19”.
How do I join?
Please help!

Put 5 sts from the right needle on another needle and hold it parallel with and in back of the 5 sts from the left needle. Then knit 1 stitch from each needle together. It’s similar to a 3 needle BO shown on the Tips page under Finishing, but you’re not going to BO the stitches, just leave then on the needle.

Great! so simple! I appreciate your help!
