Bulky Yarn Slipper Socks

I’m short on time to make a few Christmas gifts, so I searched for a pattern to make slipper socks using Lion Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn. I have several skeins, as well as some similar yarns of the same weight.

I found the Red Hot Slipper Socks on the Lion Brand website, and decided to give them a try. There are a few mistakes on the pattern, which are listed on the main page for the pattern. So, I printed out the PDF file, and wrote the corrections on it. (Weird that they haven’t updated the PDF file.) :??

Anyway, it only took a day to make both slipper socks, and they turned out great! I used different bulky yarns to make them.

Nice! They look very warm!

They are TOASTY warm!
I’m gonna have to make a pair for myself when the Christmas giving is over.

   those socks! There are going to be some happy feet wearing those!

I think that’s the pattern I used to show my #2 daughter how easy it is to make socks!

They look so warm and inviting ! My toes are doing a little dance lol:)
Well done Sandy!

Thanks everyone!
I gave the socks to my son Noah today, and he loves them!

Cozy and warm! Great slippers!

Cool! I’ll have to try that pattern too!

I’m working on another pair for my oldest son now. And then I’ll finally be able to make some for ME!

oh, they are sooo cute!:knitting:

Thanks Jen!
