Bulky Yarn Slipper Socks

I’m short on time to make a few Christmas gifts, so I searched for a pattern to make slipper socks using Lion Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn. I have several skeins, as well as some similar yarns of the same weight.

I found the Red Hot Slipper Socks on the Lion Brand website, and decided to give them a try. There are a few mistakes on the pattern, which are listed on the main page for the pattern. So, I printed out the PDF file, and wrote the corrections on it. (Weird that they haven’t updated the PDF file.) :??

Anyway, it only took a day to make both slipper socks, and they turned out great! I used different bulky yarns to make them.

Nice! They look very warm!

They are TOASTY warm!
I’m gonna have to make a pair for myself when the Christmas giving is over.

   those socks! There are going to be some happy feet wearing those!

I think that’s the pattern I used to show my #2 daughter how easy it is to make socks!
