I was wandering what it means to add some one to your buddy list. Does any one know? I have had yahoo messenger before. Does it mean you can chat with a buddy if they are online like other chat programs?

I’m not sure if it works the same here, but, on another forum I belong to, it’s basically just adding people you are friends with. On the other forum, there aren’t really any added benefits to it, except if you want to send a PM you don’t have to go searching through the forum or member list to find that person, you can just refer to your buddy list.
Demonica is correct. It’s just a quick list that lets you keep track of when your buddies are on the forum and lets you quickly PM them. Nothing too fancy. There’s a paragraph or two in the forum FAQ found here.
