My mother gave me the Needlemaster set last year, but not with the directions. Is there anyway to stop them from unscrewing? I have to stop occasionally and screw the tips on because my yarn is catching.

the best suggestion I have is to make sure you use the little key thing (the wire with the loop) to help tighten. stick it in the hole at the end of the cable and use it as leverage to tighten. The only time mine have ever unscrewed was when i was too lazy to take this step…which is often! :shifty:
btw…there is a whole thread on the general section about the interchangeables (which is probably where you will find this post in a little while!) 
should be able to find lotsa hints and tips on there too if you haven’t already checked it out! 
Also, they are more likely to unscrew if you knit with a lot of hand rotation.
