I can’t see the site. You can certainly knit them both at the same time – you just need two balls of yarn, one attached to each bootie. You knit one and then the other. Then turn them around, knit one and then the other, etc.
I didn’t get your link to work, but knitting two of anything on straights is just a matter of having two balls of yarn and casting on two of whatever you’re knitting. I always knit two sleeves at a time.
Try the link now I think I fixed it. Cool I see what you are saying now but I never thought about doing it :happydance: Is it easier than knitting them seperately.
well one thing you don’t run into when doing that is “second bootie/sock/mitten” syndrome. most of the time after we have knit one of anything we don’t feel like we need to do the other cuz we have already accomplished the first one! getting excited to do that second one is HARD! but if you do both at the same time it doesn’t feel like you are doing it twice and with socks it is nice because you make sure they are even.
Thank you. I made my third pair of booties tonight using the two at a time method Making booties is addictive especially when they are so small and cute ( I make them for 1-3lb preemies as I am a preemie project member). I don’t think the method is any quicker, but at least you get that second bootie done with the first :happydance:
