I’m making 2nd size of bootie but on 2nd row I end up with 1 stitch short ! Obviously reading pattern wrongly can somebody please explain row 1 (ws) purl.
row 2 (K1, M1) twice, K5 [7: 8: 10], M1, K1, M1, K1 [1: 3: 3], M1,
K1, M1, K5 [7: 8: 10], (M1, K1) twice. 25 [29: 33: 37] sts.
Bootie help
Probably not a mistake in interpreting the pattern but maybe just a forgotten increase?
row 2 (K1, M1) twice, K7,
M1, K1, M1, K1, M1, K1, M1,
K7, (M1, K1) twice. 29sts.
The M1 should be an increase between sts. The repeats are K1, M1, K1, M1.
You might try markers at the central alternating section between the K7s, then count sts in that section which is a bit hard to keep track of (7sts from the initial 3sts).
