I am just finishing off my very first Booga Bag…I did the I-cord last night while I was at work. I am very nervous at felting…It is my first time and I am scared it will be ruined!!! I have a front load washing machine so once it’s in it will have to stay put until the cycle is finished!!! I also used Noro Kureyan but cant remember the shade, It’s mostly reds and purples.

How long did you make the I-cord before felting? I’m working on one for my own bag (not a booga bag, per se), and I’ve estimated that because the yarn I’m using shrinks in length by one-half, I’ll need 8-10 feet! Does this seem outrageous?
I have done my I-cord 6 feet long.
Mine was as tall as me - 5 feet.
I was very scared! Then I got a bit frustrated that I had to run it through so many times. But now I am over my first time felting woes!
