Booga Bag Pick and Knit Question

Hello,

I ended up going with the Patons SWS for my booga bag, basically because I had to exchange a bunch of yarn and I could use my credit for the SWS. My next one, :teehee: , will be with Noro! :happydance:

Ok, I am getting ready to finish the bottom, I want to be absolutely sure I am understand this concept. I watched the video on picking up stitches, and I thought I was picking up existing stitches, but from what I watched Amy do, she had another strand of yarn and was picking up brand new stitches. Soooo, just to clarify I use the strand that I have been knitting the base with and use it to pick and knit the stitches?

How do you knit the stitches right away if the yarn is underneath, or is that idea. I understand the twisted part since I have done that in another pattern. Just need to make sure I am doing the pick and knit correctly.

Thanks!!!

Yes. Pick up and knit is bringing the yarn through. You don’t need to knit them in addition to pulling the loops through.

Thanks, Ingrid!

I just love this place!
