Bone needles

I recently visited a website that was offering bone needles for sale. They were very pretty and I was wondering if anyone has used these or not and how they felt. I would like to start a DH Xmas wishlist, and was wondering if these would be a good addition. The rosewood needles are so pretty, but I’m not very into the bamboo so I thought rosewood would be similar, but maybe the bone would be better. :shrug:

Rosewood needles are much nicer than bamboo. They have a much smoother feel. I can’t say I have ever seen or used bone needles. I have seen vintage ivory ones. My grandmother has needles and hooks from when she was little made from ivory.

I had no idea they made rosewood needles… I am drooling!

It might be if they were taking the bone against your will. :teehee:

I would imagine that they’re cow or pig bones. At least, I hope so…gulp
