Blocking Seed/Sand Stitch

I’m working on a sweater coat that has 2 front plackets. My gauge is correct but the pieces came out too short so I’d like to stretch it by blocking. I wanted to know if you think I could use the spray/steam method or should I wet block it?

Depends on the fiber, what is it? If it’s acrylic, wet blocking and pinning won’t stay, you do need to steam it, but it’s permanent. If it’s wool, you can try one way and if that doesn’t work, try it the other. You can reblock, you have to every time you wash it anyway.
