Blocking Question: right side or wrong side?

I’m working on a sweater that is an Aran design and am almost finished with the front. When I block it, should I put it face down or face up? Or does it even matter? I usually block face up, but this is more patterned than things I’ve done before. No bobbles or anything, just lots of alternating knit and purl stitches.

I don’t think it makes any difference. I block right side up so I can see the right side and make any adjustments.

Same here. I usually block face up because I like to see the way it’s really going to look, but other than that, I don’t think it matters.
