Hi All! I’m working on a top down sweater and things are going well except that it’s rolling up on me and it’s like knitting a sausage! It’s driving me crazy. I’m at the point where I’m just starting sleeve increases so it’s still relatively small and manageable and less than the length of my needle cord. Can I lay it out flat on some towels and spray it with water, pin it and let it dry to flatten it out?
Will that mess me up later?
Thanks!!!
I’ve never tried this but you could lightly block, especially if it’s wool. Eventually, the weight of the knitting will stop this from rolling or at least rolling so much.
Is there are collar to be added later or has the collar already been knit? What is the name of the pattern?
Thanks so much. I’m going to try it. It’s this pattern:
It’s knit top down so it’s the collar so I don’t think it’s a big deal for later but it’s making it harder for me to knit and read sts.
Thank you!
