Any point in blocking a garment made from homespun? I haven’t used it before (it was a request) so I wasn’t sure. Should I block the pieces and then seam? Or should seam it all up and then block? Thoughts?
What are you making? I find that homespun just sort of does it’s thing. It’s one of the most forgiving yarns–it seems to me that no matter how many mistakes or odd stitches you do with it, it still turns out attractive and uniformly fuzzy.
p.s. it’s very drape-y, conforming to the body rather than holding it’s own shape.
It’s sort of a poncho sweater thingy. I think it will be fine. It is quite forgiving. Thanks.
