I am making a baby blanket by knitting blocks of different stitch patterns with Cotton Ease. They are not all the exact same size when they come off the needles due to the differences of the pattern stitches, and therefore I am going to have to do something to make them more uniform. Surprisingly after 21+ years of knitting, I have only sort of blocked one FO! How well do y’all think Cotton Ease (50% cotton 50% acrylic) may block and what would be the best way to go about it? If it doesn’t block well, do you think that once I join all the blocks they may just even out enough on their own to be all right anyway? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Blocking Cotton Ease?
I don’t know whether or not cotton can be blocked. However, I can tell you for certain that acrylic definitely cannot be blocked. Sorry…
I don’t know if cotton can be blocked either, but if it’s washable you could wash it and dry it…or almost dry it and then block it to size maybe?
