So I’m starting a sweater with bobble stitches. Some of them are turning out okay, but the others look like ugly little knots. Can I block bobble stitches? And if so, will they turn out better after they’re blocked?
Also, can you block intarsia pieces, so they’ll look more “put together?”
Yes, blocking will help with both the bobbles and intarsia. When I block bobbles, i usually pin the item out, then spray well with water and pinch the bobbles into shape. Make sure that the bobbles are all showing on the RS of the fabric and not pushed to the WS.
