Blocking Baby Cocoon

I knitted a baby cocoon out of Lion Brand Fun Yarn and was wondering if I needed to block it and if so, how would I do it. Margie

I don’t think Fun Fur would be a good choice for a baby garment like that. It could be a breathing or choking hazard. I don’t want to hurt your feelings. Maybe you could take it apart and knit something nice for the mom with it?

You wouldn’t block fun fur, just wash it. But I agree, it’s probably not the best for a cocoon. Maybe just as a trim on the edges, but not the whole thing.

Lion Brand Fun Yarn is different from Fun Fur. But Sue’s advice still applies, no need to block, just wash and dry as recommended.
