I’m currently knitting the Palindrome Scarf, (Irish Hiking/reversible cable). Using Fishermen’s Wool. Actually I’m thinking it’s looking pretty good right now, but know it could be even better if I use the proper blocking technique. I’ll be making the matching hat and wrist warmers and assume I’d use the same method with those as well. Any of your expert advice would be greatly appreciated!

Usually all you would do is wet/wash it and lay flat to dry, patting it in to shape. You wouldn’t pin and stretch it because that could flatten out the cables.
Is wetting enough or should I also use a mild soap?
