So, yesterday (Tuesday) was my birthday, and I got knitting presents!
First, I got yarn for my first sweater. I’m making Wicked in artyarn’s supermerino 155. I looovvve the color, and I can’t wait to start on the sweater.
And, they surprised me with a swift!!! Which made me realize how knitting obsessed I am because, when they bring down the long skinny box, the first thing I think is “OMG! I think it’s a swift!”

Mamathree this is a swift. You put a hank of yarn around it, and then attach the end of the yarn to a ball winder. The swift spins and keeps the hank from tangling as you wind.
