I just finished an earwarmer with seed stitch and I have 10 sts left on two needles. I was going to do a Kitchener stitch to close but I am not sure if I should do it K,P,P,K or something else because the stitches are not in stocking stitch
What part of the garment/object is it? Shoulders? I’m not sure, but whoever does will need more information.
It is just a earwarmer
Do you mean you’re joining them? You could try the 3 needle bindoff in pattern.

I would do the 3 needle bind off. It makes a beautiful finished seam that has relatively little bulk, and with it being the back of an earwarmer it would never be seen anyways.
I did find a somewhat vague description of grafting seed stitch here. Don’t know if it will be helpful or not.
thanks for the suggestions
Thank you knitqueen!
I did it! :happydance: I was a little confused with the directions. Ok, so I was a lot confused with the directions so I did what she recommended. I knit a swatch and used a contrasting yarn for a row to see what the stitches looked like in seed. I can do a kitchener stitch no problem but I did not know how to do it with K1, P1. The only problem was I was not sure when to drop off the stitch. Kitchener stitch you slip off the first st right away but I think I did it right by leaving it on until I went through the first st on needle one then through first stitch on needle two. Then through second stitch on needle two and then back down first stitch on needle one. That is when I dropped the first stitch from needle one and needle two. The directions did not say when to drop the stitch, was I right? Or did I do it the hard way. I LOVE learning new techniques.
