Binding off question

apologies if this has already been asked, but i couldn’t find a thread that answered my question!

when doing a basic bind off, what happens to the last stitch? i’m a new knitter and have successfully bound off several partial rows (for buttonholes, etc), but as yet i haven’t had to bind off an entire row, and the video on this site only goes for about 2 seconds and then cuts out. when you have slipped the 2nd last stitch over the last stitch, what happens to the last stitch?? the mind boggles!

Take the last stitch off the needle, and pull the yarn end through it to secure. :XX:

Dont be boggled…

For that last stitch, you pull your working yarn THROUGH it, and pull it tight. Then you weave in that end of yarn.

The videos work better if you download them to your computer before watching them…right-click on the icon, choose “save target as” and choose a directory, or your desktop or whatever, then click save.

ahhh i see! sense is made! thank you!
