Hi
I’m making the “Hooded Alpaca Parka” in Michael del Vecchio’s “Knitting with Balls”, and my question concerns the neck edge.
The pattern is:
(RS)Sl 1 pwise P2 *K5, P2, rep from * to last stitch, K1
(WS) Sl 1 pwise, purl to end of row
I’m finishing the raglan decreases on the shoulder/sleeves and the pattern reads
Dec row: (RS) *Work in patt to 2 sts before marker, SSK, sl m, K2tog, rep from * for each marker; work in patt to end of row. Rep dec row every other row 34 times…BO all sts.
I’ve done the 34 decrease rows, with the WS (purl row) in between them…I hope that was the right thing to do.
Now- am I supposed to knit one more purl row, then bind off, or should I just bind off on the next (purl) row? The pattern doesn’t say to bind off on the RS or the WS (there is a hood that I need pick up sts for on the neck edge afterwards).
Thanks for any and all help!
