What is the problem that you’re having with it?

okay it’s a bit confusing … but here it goes

  1. cast on 2st with one ball cast on 2st with another ball or other ends
  2. now working in rev st st inc 1 st at each end of the next 3 rows = 8 sts

does this mean 8 sts all together or in each leg ??

Yes, you increase at each end of both legs to increase to 8 on each leg.

While you’re working the legs separately, each line of direction is done on each leg.

okay that is fine but the instructions said for the next 3 rows and it took more than 3 row to get to 8 st on each leg …

now it says work 15 even rows … which means and even rev st st ?? right … now would that be should end up to 15 row because it took me about 6 rows to get to the 8 sts on each leg so that means i need to do 9 more rows ??

I’m sorry i just wish they replied to me regarding their patterns . or at least write them just a little more clearer … if you know what i mean

I think you misread the pattern. You increase at EACH END on the first three rows. That gives you 2 increases per row=6 increases on the three rows.

okay i started all over again … and i did the following

cast on 2 st cast on 2 st

Row 1 = knit 1 , knit 1 with 1 inc = 3 st // knit 1, knit 1 with 1 inc = 3 st
total 6 st
row 2 = knit 2 knit 1 w/1inc = 4 st // knit 2 knit 1 w/1 inc = 4 st
total 8 sts
Row 3 = knit 3 knit 1 w/1 inc = 5 st // knit 3 knit 1 w/ 1inc = 5 st
total 10 sts

how do you get 8st in each side with 3 rows ??

You have 2 on your needle.

row 1 - if you increase in each stitch, you have 4
row 2 - if you increase at each end, you have 6
row 3 - if you increase at each end, you have 8

Row 1 kfb in both stitches =4
Row 2 kfb, k2, kfb=6
Row 3 kfb, k4, kfb=8

You increase at each end of each row (leg) and in your first row that is 2 stitches, each stitch is the end, so increase in each of those first stitches to end up with 4 when you are done with the first row, then increasing twice each row (at each end) should get you to 8.

okay now i get it . but it says reverse stocknette stitch … so it purl row 1 and knit row 2 and purl row 3 right … or all knit ??

It’s purl one row, knit one row, but the purl bumpy side will be the right side.

When I said ‘knit’ I should have said ‘work’

just making sure … what i want to know what is the difference … since i am using the yarn plush and it’s all bumpy anyways … seams silly … but i am doing as we are talking …

i just now connected the legs … thank you for your help
