my options dpns - 0s - got bent.
I don’t know how, but then I made it worse trying to fix it.
anyone have any tips on this?
or has else had this happen & gotten replacements just by asking?
and is this a frequent thing, or maybe I should just buy a different brand?
how do you all carry yours around (with socks or something on it) and not have this happen?
I was thinking about using one of those watch cases, but then realised - fat chance if I’ve already started something.
Size 0’s bend very easily no matter wha brand it is. They’re just thin and fragile naturally. You have to be very careful how you store them so that you don’t ruin future pairs.
And don’t knit too tightly on them, either! All of my #2 dpn’s have a nice, big curve in the middle.
I bend all my dpns smaller than a 3
doesn’t matter what brand or what they are made of… You can still use them and they seem to fit to my hand better I guess cause they are bent to… :teehee:
My bamboo 1’s and 2’s are bent, but they still work fine. At least, they’re significantly curved - they aren’t bent into J shapes or anything.
