Hiya im a beginner knitter and I just wanted to let other knitters know what really helped me. Knitting with chunky yarn! It gives you a lot more control I find and a quicker knit for those who are impatient. My favourite brand is Marriner super chunky. With this yarn I use 10mm needles as it suggests.
