Beginner (really a beginner)

I just finished my first scarf and am binding off. I am at the last stitch and I don’t know what to do. HELP!

When you have one stitch left of the needle, cut the yarn leaving about a 6 inch tail. Put the end of the tail of yarn through the loop of the last stitch and tighten up on the tail. Weave in the end of yarn into the side of your scarf or under the bind off. Congratulations on finishing your first scarf!

Or, instead of threading the tail through the loop, pull on the loop and tighten (not too much, and weave in the end.
