Hello all! I’m a beginner and have only been knitting about 2 months. However, I’ve already completed four projects and I’m having such fun. I’m a little confused though…when I cast on, does my slip not at the beginning count as one of my cast on stitches. In other words, do I put my slip knot on and then starting counting with “1” on the next stitch or is that “2”? I know this must be a really silly question, but it baffles me every time!!
