Beginner Knitter Needs Help

Hi, I’m stuck on finishing my baby hat.
I am knitting on circular needles and I don’t understand how to finish the decreasing. I am at knit 4 stitches, 2 tog, but it’s getting too tight to continue working around, and I can’t figure out how to make it work, I know that it’s probably really simple, but I have never knitted before and I can’t work it out, and I don’t want to wreck it at the last stages.
I hope I’ve made sense, and if anyone can explain to me what to do next to complete the last few rounds, I would be so grateful.

Many Thanks.

You will need to switch to a different method of circular knitting once the stitches are too few to fit around your circular. There are a number of choices - you can use double pointed needles, magic loop method (which requres one long circular), or the two circular method. Videos for all 3 can be found here:

Thank you for your help. I thought perhaps it was just me, but it didn’t seem to make sense, and I thought something is missing!! The lady in the store didn’t explain to me that I would need other needles to finish!!

You can continue to use the same circ, just do a sort of magic loop. Move your stitches toward the left needle and let the empty right one kind of loop around so you can continue knitting.
