I have never knitted and I am wondering something. This probably sounds really stupid but, once you get your initial row of threads, how do you start your next row and connect it to your first and so on? I’ve watched a few videos but they all show mw how to start, not what to do next.
Any help would be appreciated.

Look at Demo of a Small Project on the Tips page. That shows how everything comes together from cast on, knitting a few rows and bind off.
