Been gone awhile

I’ve been out of the knitting groove for at least 3 months. Life kind of takes over sometimes. Lost my brother and now my bestie on hospice. Struggling with these life changes and feeling a bit overwhelmed. So I figured maybe I should try picking up my knitting since it has provided me a stress reliever in the past. So I’ve gotten out several wip’s that were close to completion and hope I can get on track and let it do its magic for me. Wish me luck!!

I’m indeed sorry for all the very sad times that you are enduring. My condolences on the passing of your brother. These are moments that call for all the strength we have aided by the support of family and friends.
There’s a meditative quality to knitting that helps to deal with the difficulties and changes. It is calming and a stress-reliever. I’m glad you’re turning back to it. Good to see you here again as well.

So sorry for your loss, and about your friend.

Thank you @Creations, @salmonmac, @Shintoga for your condolences. I have picked back up one of my wip. I thought I was good at tracking a project but this showed me I need to do better. Thankfully it was only sleeves. One was on waste yarn so I’m just going to get to roughly same length then start counting rows until I have the length I want and then will know how many rows for 2nd sleeve. It doesn’t need to be exact. But am enjoying being back in the saddle.

Good for you! Sounds like a good way to continue.
I’m usually amazed at how my copious notes don’t include the one vital piece of information I need to pick up and work a project.
