I am going to work on a beautiful sort of lacy beanie for myself. I just got a really cute plaid shirt to go with it. The yarn is an alpaca based yarn and the color is a light lavenderish purple.

Welcome to the blogs! How long have you been knitting? My DD who is 13 and crochets just knit her first scarf this week. She picked it up very fast and used a soft blue Alpaca yarn. Good luck with your beanie. I can’t wait to see pictures when you are finished.
Did you intend this to be the start of a blog thread? If not I can move it to the What’cha Knittin’ Forum since it’s a WIP, or the General Forum. 
Actually I have been knitting for 4 years now but I am still a beginner. Trust me I will post a ton of pics of the finished beanie.
