the photos don’t do the colors justice - the left is a pale, robin’s egg blue, the right, a rich, deep burgandy - i loved the two colors together, and fully intend on knitting them into some beautiful scarf.
this is an enormous skein of undyed, 100% baby alpaca - it is simply gorgeous to behold, and if i could make a big nest and sleep in it, i would.
some recent purchases from my lys, the cornwall yarn shop:
cascade 100% baby alpaca, chunky - all blue yarn was 20% off for the month of may…what can i say? i’m a sucker for a sale.
again with the baby alpaca…i posted once before i had an alpaca problem…it hasn’t gotten any better.
guess what fiber these yarns are…? i loved the purple yarn, it has tiny flecks of glitter in it. i have no idea what i’ll do with it, but i needed to have it.
and my latest purchase, which just came in the mail today…
this is my first multi-colored yarn, i think, besides sugar and cream cotton yarn. it is, of course, baby alpaca, and i think i might do some armwarmers with it…
-and alpacas all over the world are thanking you!!! ROTFL, alpaca problem… those are some amazing yarns! I think my fav is the purple with the glitter sparkles in it. just because it looks so fun!
i love the purple yarn, too…i just don’t know what to do with it! any sport-weight patterns requiring approximately 200y of yarn would be greatly appreciated…
