Can anyone explain to me what it means?
To baste in sewing is use large running stitches to temporarily hold pieces together, instead of using pins. Without anymore context (what you do to the collar later, etc), it’s hard to say what your pattern means. Do you have link to the pattern, or can give us its name?
It must be the same because the next step is to attach the collar to the rest of the sweater. Thank you so much for the help.:cheering:
Okay, then it’s just to hold it in place. You can use pins though.
