Bargains!

I’ve been to the carboot sales again…and I’ve got some BARGAINS! Wooo major stash increase! :woot:I got a big bag of yarn for £4, a yarn winder for £2, a set of green buttons for 20p and a pattern for 10p. Oh, and later that afternoon my MIL gave me a HUGE pile of old ‘Golden Hands’ magazines!!! I had a lovely time last night flicking through them :mrgreen:

The yarn —>

*5 balls of Sirdar ‘Salsa’ DK (with Merino Wool) in a copper colour
*1 Wendy ‘Velvet Touch’ in white
*3 (and a tiny bit) Patons ‘Fairytale’ 4 ply in turquoise
*3 or 4 Sirdar ‘Demin Chunky’
*2 fashion chunky
*Some Sirdar ‘Calypso’ cotton DK in various colours

Oh and some crochet cotton which I’ll be giving to my Mum :heart:

I was thinking of doing something summery with the orange/green/yellow cotton…if anyone has any suggestions for that or any of it I’d be very grateful!

i have a book with a pattern for a summer hat that actually looks like it was done in those colors (if i’m remembering right). i’ve been trying to find it. i just hope i didn’t “give” it in to the library last time i returned my books… :shock:
