Does anyone know what a bar increase is? Is it increasing after each marker?

Kfb is commonly referred to as the ‘bar’ inc as it creates a slight ‘bar’ at the base of the st.
If you go to Videos>Increases you’ll see it.

You would pick up the bar that is between the stockinette stitches. You can either pick that “bar” up from the front or from the back of it depending on wether you want to slant it to the left or right.
checking out the videos will help.

That’s called a lifted bar increase sometimes, usually known as a M1 L or R. Mostly a bar inc is the KFB.
when you look in between 2 stitches you will see a line of yarn you pick that up with your left needle and knit or purl in the front of the stitch if you do it from the back you will have a hole. it’s the most invisible increase that i have found so far.
