Balls of yarn unravel

Does anyone have a good tip for helping me keep my yarn balls neat when I knit? I’m weaving to balls of thread together as I knit and they unravel more than I’d like as I go along. I’m making more of a yarn mess than I’d like. Thanks…:???:

You can place them in a ziplock, or a plastic bowl where they won’t roll around too much. Or try making a centerpull ball, there’s a video for it on the Tips page, I think.

I always wind mine into center pull balls. They tend to behave quite well that way.
