Baby Patterns For Beginners?

Hi there.

My best friend’s little girls have their birthdays coming up soon and I was wanting to make something for them. I was wondering if there were any nice baby patterns that a beginner would be able to do.
Does anyone know where I can find any?

What age are the girls? Do you have any idea what you want to make? Sweater, hat, toy??

There are just too many patterns when we don’t know specifics.

Hey…im also a new knitter and just started this really cute baby blanket…its actually an easter blanket but i just changed the yarn for a little girl…pretty easy if you can k2tog and yo…which is easy enough to learn hehe. heres the link…

I’ve found Debbie Bliss’ “Quick Knits for Kids” produces some really cute and quick knits for beginners.
