If it’s not too late (or if y’all decide to do another one) I wouldn’t mind being in on one of the “regular” blankets. Me + picking up stitches = :wall::hair:
Your technique is fantastic. Just remember we are only sending on the center section, one color, one block in our Round Robin… I finished mine up last night, too.
Okay, now I’m confused on the log cabin blankies. I thought we were only supposed to knit the center square/rectangle and send it on. If it’s something else, sombody let me know because I was mailing it later on today.
Oh good! It really is very well done! Now you’ll have one of your own to work on. I have one that’s about 30 x 30 I think and I love to work on it when I need some “brainless” knitting time. Went through a lot of stress in late June and I must have added five inches on each side during that!
That’s okay, Sanibelle. DH says I stay confused all the time anyway. I thought about making one with all my little balls of leftovers. I’ve made log cabin quilts, but this will be my first attempt at knitting one.
Good luck on your tests snowbear. I hope they figure it out soon.
I know some tests can be worse than whatever it is you have. I went through about 4 months of some really horrible tests about 18 years ago. For around 3 months or so the bathroom was my best friend and I lost over 50 pounds. After all the gross testing, I was diagnosed with IBS. At least I knew what was wrong. I think that’s the hardest part… not knowing.
I still want to help on the next blanket. . . but I still have the West Coast blanket, so if it’s okay can I go towards the bottom of the list?
Speaking of the West Coast blanket, I think I send it to you, Snowbear. I know you’re not feeling well, so I thought I would offer to finish it up with a border, weave in the ends, etc., making it even easier for you to donate. Let me know what you would like for me to do!
