Baby Hoodie

I used this pattern http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/khs-hoodedSweater.html and just adjusted it downwards from the size 2 using smaller needles and yarn and adding patterns. It’s made out of Cotton Tots and is for my oldest friend’s (not age, friendship longevity) first grandchild.

Had to edit, the bear just had to give one more pose.

That looks wonderful! I love the patterning you did on it!

:inlove: :inlove:

CUUUTEE!!! :inlove: :inlove:

You did a wonderful job on it! It’s adorable!

Very cute! Great job!

Sooo cute!! Great job!!

You did a really nice spin on a basic pattern!

Has the bear requested one in his size? :shifty:

Oh my gosh, that is just sooo pretty!!

OUTSTANDING!!

I have to ask…how were you able to include so many different stitch patterns? I havent really tried adjusting a basic pattern this way yet - but I can see how it would open up SO many possibilities.

No need for a stitch-by-stitch recap, but I’m interested in your general approach to make this plain pullover so :inlove: ooh la la!!

Thank you all so much for your compliments. As far as the pattern - as long as it was divisible by four, all of those worked. I did a sampler purse once (http://www.frugalhaus.com/homepage/spurse.htm), so I just sort of did those stitches. Though this was knit flat, it sure could have been circular. But I think the sleeves were easier to put in because it was flat.

The bear is going to have to give the sweater up and go back to her usual “Chef Cindy” outfit come May.

Absolutely beautiful!!! What a fabulous gift!!

That is just adorable! :inlove: :inlove: Nice work!!

Omigosh. That is just perfect. Poor bear has to give it up, huh?

Falls over and passes out from cuteness. Well done

That is so sweet! You MUST write up the pattern and post it! I want to make that for the next baby I need to knit for!

Cute! Love the model

That’s a fabulous hoodie. I love it, and so will your friend!
May I suggest you take your “kid” model to a doctor as s/he seems to have a problem with excessive hair… :rofling: :rofling:
