Hello,
I have a couple of questions regarding a baby hat I am working on. Here is the link to the pattern:

I am following the pattern for sportweight instructions in the newborn size

  1. When it says to start section knitting, the pattern reads work
    6 x 12 row sections. So I work section 12 a total of 6 times?

  2. Once I finish the row sections, it says to knit across row decreasing 9 sts evenly across the row. I’m not sure how to decrease evenly. Any suggestions?

It looks like you work the 12-stitch section 6 times. (From the first section with the complete directions.)
