Cut yarn leaving a 12 to 14 inch tail. Thread tail on yarn needle, pass it through sts remaining on knitting needle gather sts together. Use remaining tail to sew up back seam of hat.

Thanks! Well that was easy. I guess I could have done that, if I only thought about it. haha

I am thinking though, I might not use as many stitches, or should I?

The yarn is Joann’s Angel Hair. I am knitting on size 10.5 needles.

I would decrease the sts down to about 60. I CO 80 sts on size 10.5s for an adult hat.

You might also want to try knitting a flat square that would fit the circumference of the baby’s head, seam up the side than cinch (thread through and tie up) the top that way it could be adjusted. Similar to the “Sugar on Snow” pattern from the Fall 2006 issue of Knitty (online) magazine. HTH.

Here’s a few two needle patterns, too.
