Ok, i think I have 4 pictures here. The first one is called Auntie’s Afghan from Oat Couture. Next is my 6 yo granddaughter Leia helping me with it for her first knitting lesson. The second one is Butterflies and Blossoms from Herrschners Award Winning Baby Blankets 2003. I made it in strips instead of squares so there wasn’
t so much sewing to do. Both are made with Herschners Baby Sparkle.

thanks for the kind words everyone. I only wish Leia lived closer so we could get serious about this knitting thing. We live in Denver and she lives in Coeur d’Alene< Idaho. Her mother crochets but didn’t have the patience to learn to knit when she was growing up!
