Baby Booties

I hope there is someone out there that can help me. I am knitting baby booties in the round. I’m at a point where it says, K35, S1, K2t, PSSO, turn. What do they mean by turn? Do I turn the round needles around?

It means to turn as you would at the end of a row. If the knit row just given is the front side of the bootie, you’ll be turning onto the back or inside of the bootie. Instead of knitting in the round, you’ll probably be knitting back and forth for this part of the pattern.

Does it matter that I’m working with round needles?

Just knit back and forth (flat knitting) on your circular or double pointed needles.
