Baby blanket

Baby blanket I’m working on for the Debbie Macomber/Project Linus Mother’s Day charity knitting. In all the years I’ve been knitting I have never twisted a cable on the first row…until now. When the pleats started to form I was too far in to frog the blanket. It sort of grows on you but I don’t think I will do it again.

Yarn is Vanna’s baby yarn in bluebell…blue with a hint of lavender.

What a lovely blanket! You’ve really made a wonderful gift for this fine project. How very kind and thoughtful of you.

It’s beautiful! I kind of like the pleated look! It doesn’t look like an accident so go with it for this one at least! I can see uses for that pleated look, too!

Gorgeous color and blanket. I never would have thought about the pleating without you mentioning it- it’s a design element.

I agree with Jan! I like the “pleats” too. It won’t make a bit of difference to the giftee!

It’s a beautiful blanket!

Cute and unusual, I like it.

Oooh, I think it is wonderful. Someone will certainly love it!:muah:

Yes, yes! I agree with the others…gorgeous, love the color, and the pattern is interesting, looks like you put a lot of work into it!

That’s fabulous. Mistake? I don’t see any mistakes! It looks to me like you made it that way on purpose, and it turned out gorgeous. Besides, I seriously doubt the recipient knows what the original pattern is supposed to look like, so they’ll never know whether it’s a mistake or not.
